About Us

The Clover Bend Historical Preservation Association is a non-profit educational association that collects, preserves and interprets the history of Clover Bend from the 1900s through the 1950s.

The Association was formed in 1983 when the school closed and consolidated with Hoxie School. The urgency was to save the buildings as well as the history that brought them and their programs into being.

The association is directed by a self perpetuating non-paid board and is financed through private donations and grants as well as Government Grants.

We are a non-profit organization with a (501c3) tax exempt status. Most of our work is performed by volunteers.
