UPDATE ON THE 2012 REUNION
 
 
We have an urgent request! 
 
While preparing athletic exhibits to be moved to the gym, it was discovered that every single athletic trophy from the 1940's, and many from the 1950's and 1960's had been discarded some time before the school closed and was consolidated with Hoxie.  There is not one trophy remaining from the dozens and dozens that were won during those years.  Some of our best athletic teams Clover Bend ever had played during the 1940's and there are no trophies to show for their efforts.. 
 
If you played in the 1940's or know of a trophy that any Clover Bend athletic team won during the decade of the 1940's, any sport, boy or girl,  Junior or Senior team,  please email the information to this web site, cloverbend@suddenlink.net or through the Guestbook (gray tab above).
 
When the Reunion rolls around the weekend before Memorial day, the Clover Bend Historic Site will be all finished and ready for inspection.
  • The gym floor is being refinished and the work started today!  The gym will look better than it did when it was new.
  • Handicap ramps have been installed for the gym.
  • A handicap rest room has been built in the gym.  Guess where it is?
  • Newly refurbished rest rooms have replaced the four old ones.  The floors are tile and they are first class.
  • New heating and air conditioning has been installed in the main building, the Home Ec Cottage and the Gymnasium.
  • The  outside of the Home Ec Cottage has been replaced with original wood, as it was in the 1940's.  It was painted this week and looks brand new!
  • Old main has been painted inside and the trim is being painted outside.  The windows are being repaired and the wooden cupolas, vents etc on top of the building are being replaced.
